Smithtown Christian School (SCS) 5K/1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, (5K at 9:00am and1 Mile Fun Run/Walk at 9:05am).
Check-in and day-of registration is 8:00am-8:40am. Cars will not be allowed in to the parking lot after 8:40.
This is a
family-friendly event featuring a course that starts and finishes at Smithtown Christian
School (1 Higbie Drive, Smithtown), passing by scenic Brady Park and Miller Pond
and through residential areas. The 5K race is USTAF certified and professionally/chip timed. All proceeds benefit tuition scholarships for
the school’s 600 students from PreK-12th grade.

INFORMATION
Smithtown Christian School (SCS) is seeking corporate and
business sponsors for our inaugural SCS 5K/1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, on Saturday,
May 10, 2014 (1 Mile Fun Run/Walk at 9am, and 5K at 9:30am). This is a
family-friendly event featuring a course that starts and finishes at Smithtown Christian
School (1 Higbie Drive, Smithtown), passing by scenic Brady Park and Mill Pond
and through residential areas. All proceeds benefit tuition scholarships for
the school’s 600 students from PreK-12th grade.
We are seeking sponsors to defray costs of race coordination
(including course certification, race timing and bibs, and refreshments). All
sponsors will be listed on race t-shirts provided to participants as well as on
prominent signage at the event. Corporate/business sponsors can choose from
three levels of support in making their tax-deductible donation:
“Runners” Sponsorship: $500
“Sprinters” Sponsorship: $750
“Marathoners” Sponsorship: $1000
